The problem usually is a lack of a lift to get under a car for any real work. I'm a big believer in DIY and teaching others basics of maintanence, maybe you could ask Z&M auto if they would host something?
Maybe they could do something as part of the BMW CCA in NJ??
Fyi - Z&M Auto r trying to organize a bear mountain run in a couple weeks.
