I experimented with this, along with the muffler delete. With the muffler delete alone, the exhaust sounded refined, nice low grumble on idle and mellow while cruising. With the resonator out as well, idle had the same tone, but maybe a bit louder but there was noticeable drone on cruise. Apart from the drone the tone of the exhaust sounded "dirty". didn't like it so I put the resonator back in.
