I just wanted to give an update on this. I took delivery of my vehicle and finalized all the BMWCCA paperwork needed. I submitted the weekend I took delivery and already received the check from BMWNA.
This was an opportunity for BMWNA and BMWCCA to make a firm impression on me. They stood up and did what was right. That means something. Pure class CCA and BMW for grandfathering in future owners that would have been hung out to dry with the new rules change. Super pleased with both.
