So far no noise but my my last x5m didnt either but the x6m did. They ended up changing the rotors and pads. It all depends on how you drive it. I know they changed the hub center design. My M8 has the ceramics and honestly they are so much better. They are not noisy and zero dust plus a nice progressive feel with the braking by wire system.
