You just never know how things will turn out. For many years I had planned on retiring at 50 and enjoying the good life, turns out achieving that goal was not as fulfilling as putting on a blue vest, stocking shelves and helping people find canned beans. Sometimes it is the simple things in life that are the most satisfying.
That's my goal, to retire by 50. In talks with people who have retired I get the 'grass being greener on the other side' impression. I'm 34 currently so I've got some time to think, but I can't imagine working for another 34 years.
