There's a brown ground connector near the plastic piece you remove to get access to the trailer wire. Near that ground connector is what I believe is a circle port to run the wire outside the vehicle. I'm just curious how to feed it without cutting the harness and reconnecting it.

I got the same message when I first connected my harness to test it. I didn't drive with it so no idea if it'll disappear. I might try again today to test it with my boat trailer. |
I drove around tonight and the error was gone. Phew!!
