Even more confused now...
This morning, after a total reset of my Blackberry (take the battery out), a total reset of all connections (deletion and re-connecting the device with the car) I suddenly see not only contacts, but also emails & sms.
With a Blackberry 9780.
So, anyone out there who has problems, might try resetting the device.
Weird world...
