On to the major flaw... I was so excited when I got the X5 that I could adjust the backrest of the seats for better shoulder support (as Paladin1 points out above). However, the most frustrating thing ever is that when you adjust the backrest forward for better shoulder support, it also moves the headrest forward too — and it is not possible to individually move the headrest backward independent of the backrest. So it's impossible to have good shoulder support while having your head tilted back, making long drives very uncomfortable. So dumb.
True for me too! I had the same issue during the weekend with the 7 series! But by moving the headrest up I could make it a bit better
