I have the same concern as the OP.
I have about one-week left to change my M50i order, which is currently the 22" 747 w/DHP.
I live in MI, and will be swapping out for a dedicated winter set (20"s), but our roads are awful....the problem? I LOVE the look of the 747's....I think they absolutely make the suv look AMAZING.
My dilemma:
- Change my order from dhp to full-air - keep the same 22" rims
- 21"s (741's) and keep dhp
- 21"s (741's) and go full-air
- Don't change anything and gamble
Handling and appearance are important to me, but if I'm going to be hearing constant drumming and pinging coming from my wheels, I'm willing to go with a wheel I'm not crazy about to improve overall comfort. I drive 45-50 miles of mixed driving every day.
