I posted this as i couldn't find anything online and needed these removed so that my installer can XPEL the car and wrap the edges.
I'm replacing side grilles with IND CF units however their tutorial only covers how to remove the horizontal piece which contains M5 badge.
I didnt bother adding that here as you can youtube their tutorial.. once that piece is removed, cover remaining side grille with painters tape as close to the edge as possible. Pull outward on the corner indicated with the arrow using your fingers. This will create a gap between grille and fender so that you can insert your nylon pry tool and push down on the clip to release it.. once the first clip is released do the same for three remaining clips. These photos will show where the clips are located.
