Hello All,

I am trying to find a car for my father that will be a pure toy car. Must be sporty, no need for 4 seats, probably 2 door. Can be classic. We were going to go out and get the new 911, but I suggested that we save some cash and get nearly the same enjoyment out of something more rare. Enjoyment not being canyon carving, etc but more joy riding into town.

I was thinking Porsche 356, 993 C4S, etc. My father really would like an old porsche as we've had several. But, we are open to other makes. I wanted it to be historically significant. It will be a garage queen, and sunday driver. It does not have to be super reliable and we are OK with putting reasonable amounts of money into it.

Budget is around $50k, but we are obviously flexible if we see something we really like.

Need some suggestions. TIA!
