Apparently, if you've been running 2-3x/week and playing soccer, you really aren't in any condition to try and squat what was normally just a warm-up weight the first night back. The first set I could feel a bad burn/tingle in the inner ham. The next set I stopped after about 3 and went to just the bar. Did 3 more sets of 12 that way to just work or regaining positive form. I may not reach my step goal today, if I ever get out of my chair.
The dips in the unheated pool alternating with the sauna is the only thing that is letting me move at all. I was impressed, got my respiration down to about 2/min in that cold water. Just below 3 in the sauna.
