The camera is mounted on the mirrors so if you fold them you only have front en rear view. It might be better to keep your mirrors open? Better a scratch on your mirror than the side your car? |

You're correct better not scratch anything. 4 cm om each side is not a lot. You could fold the mirrors to get in and use the automatic back up assistant to get out of the garage? I haven't tried it yet but I think it doesn't need the 360 camera. I have heard some positive reactions about the precision of this system.
