What is your car's production date? All the BMW vehicles with prod date later than 07/2020 doesn't support Samsung phones as digital key (awhile?).
If you unsure, go to Connected Drive portal and check vehicle's features. If you see "Digital Key for Samsung" your vehicle is compatible with Samsung.
Previously I had Samsung S9 and Digital Key worked well. After upgrade to S20 I experienced problems described above (DK stuck with 'Removed' status).
I asked BMW's tech support by email to make a full reset of DK function. After reset I reactivated DK with my dealership and now it works well.
Don't tell the tech support you have S20, tell them you have S10
) They still think S20 is not supported
