This was definitely one of Matt's fairest and well sorted comparison tests.

Q7's biggest redeeming factor is being able to carry 7 in reasonable comfort. That's it's selling point in this price bracket.

I don't know why the Toureg was included as it was a given that it's a cheaper Q7. VWs in general have premium looking interiors with premium build quality. However their material choice is among the worst in the business. Hard plastic everywhere. It's all screwed together well, but the materials are a huge letdown in any VW.
