Even still..... BMW quality control, casting process, etc. No way would I put un-sponsored Chinese wheels on my car. It's not "China" I'm bashing.... as much as their lack of regulation. Plenty of companies contract the Chinese to build things under strict QC standards (Apple).....
It's the Chinese manufacturers that AREN'T contracted by a major sponsor, and have no QC. That's all the crap that ends up on eBay and the Wish app.

I'm gonna have to call BS on that. I run chinese rep wheels for the winter on my M4 and I've hit HUGE potholes with them. After one of those hits I was sure the wheel must have cracked or bent. It was SPOTLESS!
And yeah, X5/X6 wheels are not forged. Very few BMW wheels are forged actually. Even the comp pack 666M wheels on the M4 aren't forged.
