I bought my tool box off Craigslist - unfortunately a lot of mechanics overextend and need to sell some great equipment.
I like the look of the metal top, but wouldn’t like it for electrical (soldering) work or clean up/scratching. Prefer wood and occasional refinishing or replacement if it gets real bad. I also like mounting a vise, not sure this item would be good for that.
Rethinking that metal top - I do mostly car stuff and wood work. Maybe if I welded or did more metal fab I’d prefer the metal top?
