I would certainly consider DAP, but my lovely wife would hate it. She mutters at the nannies in her current car all the time. And most of her driving will be city/short commute.

She doesn't have to use the cruise control options if she doesn't want to but I would imagine once trying them she will. As far as the safety features are concerned I don't think she will consider them nannies as they are not intrusive.
