I had a 'mild to wild' switch on my C6 Corvette and it opens the center two butterfly valves in the quad exhaust. Sounds good and mean when driving at low speed or starting up, but as others have said, the drone on a long ride is a pain in the ass. If there were an easy option on the X5 I would get it, but need to be able to easily turn on or off from the driving seat. Getting underneath the car is a total non starter.
