You should read the actual terms of the BMW Military Incentive. Being a PenFed member does not qualify a person without them being able to provide proof through I’d.me that the buyer is military.
Yes, the dealer may screw up and give it to you, so you will win. However, when the dealer gets audited by BMW in the future, those who the dealer can’t prove were military will result in BMW forcefully taking those incentive $’s back from the dealer. Not from you, but the dealer.
Just be informed, particularly if you care at all about personal integrity.
