You have some valid points there. Hopefully your next venture is more satisfying. Mercedes driver aids are better executed. BMWs lane keeping assist with wheel intervention is down right dangerous. MB Torque steering by braking one side of the car works like a charm. Hopefully BMW can fix some of these aids with a an OTA update.
