it's your decision, but I'd recommend NOT paying $1500 to some quack who may or may not help. Most likely you will get the SAME results without the attorney.
Don't hire a lawyer, have your son go to Court and face it like a man. Admit responsibility and ask for forgiveness.
Judge will likely put you into the diversion program, and the problem will be SOLVED successfully.
