That is my setup. I have E-Sys and ISTA-D (the BMW diagnostic software) installed on a Windows 10 partition on my MacBook Pro using the BootCamp utility that comes with all Mac operating systems. I have not updated my BMW software tools to work with the G-series cars though since I just got my X7 (and prefer to use BimmerCode for coding)....
