Just under 500 miles on our brand new 2023 X5 xDrive 45e. Everything is going great except I noticed a little slick under the rear end where I parked. Pulled the car out and smells like fuel.

I then recalled a light fuel aroma when parking her in the garage the last few nights.

I crawled under the rear end and see this loose black plug with obvious signs of leaking. I pulled the plug out and it leads to an empty area. No idea what it is!

We have a road trip planned this Sunday before I can take it in for service. Any indication on what is causing this gas leak?
