I would ask your sales person to explain, but it may be because ZGU (Premium Excellence Package) comes with 776 (Anthracite Alcantara Roofliner), so that would prevent also ordering XD5 (BMW Individual Alcantara Roofliner). Even though the order guide does indicate that "XD5 requires ordering ZAEI, ZBEI, ZBEW, ZBHF or ZBSW", it also indicates that "BMW Individual Extended Merino requires ordering ZGT or ZGU" so there is definitely a conflict with what you are trying to order.
In my experience they will not allow substitutions for package items, I ran into something similar trying to order Vernasca leather seats with ZGT (which requires Merino).
