Looking at the specs for the 21" wheels on the X5 M50i, I noticed the rears are 10.0" rather than 10.5" as on many other staggered set ups....below copied from BMW pricing guide.

21" M Y-spoke bi-color wheels, style 741M with performance run-flat tires
Front: 21x9.5, 275/40 R21
Rear: 21x10.0, 315/35 R21

I researched Tire Rack and found the Vredestein Quatrac Pro - Grand Touring All-Season size 275/40R21 which carries the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF). It is a non-run flat.

Specs from Tire Rack site:
UTQG 400 A A
MAX LOAD 2,149 lbs
Max. Inflation Pressure 51psi
Tread Depth.10/32"
Tire Weight 34 lbs
Rim Width Range 9-11"
Meas. Rim Width 9.5"
Tread Width 9.7"
Overall Diam 29.7"

Also on the Tire Rack site: Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol (3PMSF) provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

The rim width for this tire shows 9"-11" so I am considering running 275/40 R21 all the way around with the factory 21" 741M rims.

It appears to be a good tire from the reviews but I am not an expert and would appreciate any feedback.
