After a few weeks with the aliexpress one, I started thinking it just doesn't flow with the lines of the car at all. The Maxton one flows with the bumper nicely.
I spoke with the guys from Maxton. Both v1 and v2 are for the can work on the 40i as long as you have the M-design..
Also one more question. How was the installation process. Did you have to cut any new holes to make it fit and what color did you get? Paint, carbon fiber or the plastic looking color?
