Before I was set on the M, my wife and I test drove a 2020 GLE and X5 x40i. What a night and day difference between these two cars. The GLE felt like I was driving a boat and the X5 drove like a car. The handling on the GLE was terrible.
I know the GLE was not an AMG but our test drive was enough to cross out the GLE off our list.
