Previously I had Samsung S9 and Digital Key worked well. After upgrade to S20 I experienced problems described above (DK stuck with 'Removed' status).
I asked BMW's tech support by email to make a full reset of DK function. After reset I reactivated DK with my dealership and now it works well.

It's very likely to be later tham 07/2020, it is a 2021 MY...i was trying to check the feature list but not sure where to find it...i tried Connected App(on Android) and connecteddrive.ca, and didnt find "samsung" as availavle feature....
So i guess not...sigh
