You have to have "Installed apps" highlighted to see the update option.

So I have version 11/2018.49 installed and the weather and other apps are gone. Rebooted several times, performed the "Update apps and services" and still no apps or awesome widgets. |
Where did you find the version? It's gone after the update I got the other day.
