Noticed this as well and was attributing to exactly the same - outgassing. Also betting it resolves over time
Glad to hear I'm not the only one with the film. Never thought of clay bar. It certainly wasn't clean when I received it. In fact, I seriously though it was scratched - they used a microfiber cloth that had to have had product on it. I used a safelight window clearer and that too care of the, but the film continues every few days. Will give it a few more months and I'm sure it will solve itself. Coming from 4 Rovers with heated windshields, just enjoying the clear windscreens as it is, film or not!
