Yes the Cayenne S might be a slightly better car but not $20k better. Much of the like/dislike for a particular vehicle is subjective. The S doesn’t have the presence of the M60i styling wise IMO but the Pcar afficenados will say differently. And most of us will never test it's limits on a 300’ diameter skidpad so what does it matter. At the $100k++ price point, value plays a lesser role but in this class of performance SUVs it’s hard to beat the total package and value of the BMW X5 M60i. Much like the Corvette is the best overall performance and value play amongst sports cars. BTW, I’ve has two Cayennes, one base and one S.
