If you use the 330 or 325d diff it gives you the correct gearing overall, 40mph per 1000rpm in 6th gear, the 335d diff is 2,81 and makes 1st and 2nd gear useless in this conversion, the 330d diff is 2.35 and is spot on for this conversion, the 335i box is not the one to use, you need the 6 speed pre stop/start box from a 330d.
