2021 40i Battery life
Hi folks,
After 8 month overseas it was time for me to get back and try to restart my 2021 40i. While I had little hope it would start on its own I didn’t think it wouldn’t even let me in. Had to use the physical key to get in and then surprise nothing… idrive wouldn’t even start
Tried to jumpstart it with a NOCO booster, didn’t work
After contacting roadside assistance and had a truck try to jump start it (he tried with two batteries), it turns out the battery is just completely dead and needs replacement.
Considering both our F48 and F11 never had any issue restarting sometimes even after a year without driving is the battery life on the G05 this low?
I don’t know much about micro hybridation but I thought 48V might increase the battery life?
I recently just changed my F11 original battery who was 12 yo…
