It was a the fuse #262 which was shared with the light bars, idrive controller and idrive media switches. Thanks everyone for all of your help & Timmahh for checking in with the progress.
Great job, and thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am going to do the same on my BMW soon. I was just wondering if your iDrive controller knob would have the same backlit as the attached picture.
