The seat backs on the 2019 X7 that I looked at my dealer in Ivory White/Night Blue were definitely in Ivory White leather, which is what prompted me to order that same color combination on my 2020 X5 M50i that's on order now, and hopefully I will have it by the end of September. I only looked at the seat backs for the driver & passenger seats, and I'm not sure what they backs are made of for the seats in the 2nd row.
Coming from a Porsche 911, the prices for the BMW options seem a little more reasonable. Porsche does seat backs in many materials, but for a big $$ adder.
The Porsche SUV Cayenne Turbo, which is a twin turbo V-8 powered with very similar specs to the X5 M50i is also priced very high and can easily cost $160K or more, and may not have even have everything the BMW has in the way of options.
