The glass knob is tacky and a copy of the Volvo Crystal. The Crystal is more so relevant because of the manufacturers history in Sweden. The glass on the other hand can be best associated with cubic zirconia. Upscale it is not.
I for one don't like something just because the BMW name is behind it. There are quite a few people on this forum who exaggerate the brand even past putting it on a pedestal and the glass knob is just one example. |
