Good find and observation. So, leaving hood open, but with doors locked vehicle wouldn't charge? Doors must be unlocked as well?
It is a problem for owners who wants to store their vehicles long term, because leaving door unlocked wouldn't be very wise. Now they will need to unplug the battery to keep it healthy, effectively rendering Connected Drive app useless!
