That being said the C7 Z06 will definitely trap much higher in the 1/4 mile than even the mighty 991 Turbo S and beat just about anything around the track . Hell a lightly modded C7 Z51 ( aero / Hoosiers / tune ) set the NASA time trial record for its class at my local track Roebling Road at 1:12.x sec . To put it in perspective it was 3 seconds faster than the fastest heavily modded 997 GT3's on Hoosiers . The C7 Z51 is an amazing track package right out of the box that on track outclasses cars twice it's price . In a straight line the C7 Z51 is not slow but it really shines on track. 11.8-12 sec @ 118-119 mph seems to be the median 1/4 for it on a neutral day with a good driver . So the fact that it's setting track records with no power advantage speaks volumes about how good the chassis is .
