M launch cars are always priced at MSRP, if not higher, because of the initial demand. The same deal happened with the M3, M2, and will happen again with the next X5M and M8.

Better deals are to be had in 6 to 9 months when finished cars start sitting on dealer lots instead of dealers selling production slots for confirmed customer builds.
