20 years ago I heard a story about a limo man trying to sell his Lincoln. The buyer looked at the brake pedal and refused to buy the car because the pedal was worn down to metal and that looked odd with what was on the odometer.
This could’ve been his chance - performance pedals.
Even more, there was a rumor that your car could run faster with performance pedals.
Go figure…
