I was told today by my contact at my dealership that there is a recall with all the current M50i engines (just released and in current production) require a oil flush and NEED a oil change. I guess there is going to be a recall due to contamination? Dealerships are just starting to be notified as of yesterday. This could be the hold up. I didn’t ask about this but he brought it up in general dealership conversation.
