Actually Superstars is becoming a big time series with a small cost required to compete.

The two BMW teams I have been in contact with can give you a competitive,podium contending ride for only 300K per season. Ten weekends, with two sprint races per weekend.

V8 touring car racing against top Euro racing drivers for that kind of money is why there are sponsors. It is good value for them. I am currently trying to get American companies who operate in Europe to look at this series. For what one NASCAR Cup race would cost they can run a good program all year in the Superstars.

BTW-the same people who own World SuperBike also run this.

The closest thing in N.America is Conti Challenge, but that isn't as high profile as Superstars and almost as expensive.
