I participated in a few other wine threads in other forums and they devolved into people just bragging about the rare and expensive wines they’ve tried, or shitting on people who mainly drink stuff from the bigger/more well known vineyards as not being hipster enough.

Agreed completely. This thread has been good thus far and I am sure everyone can learn about a new wine and giving a try at any price points.
