Also for some reason I missed the comment from cygnusecks and can't see how to reply directly to him but in case this reply is helpful to you and others I can confirm that on my previous X5 I did get 'Shutting Down Due To Low Battery' message from the dashcam but after nearly 12 months with it fitted to my GO5 I haven't had any such messages. I think this may be due to the fact that the GO5 versions have another battery fitted in addition to the main one.
