1. Avoid German, depreciation hits those harder for most budget minded examples. Yes there are outliers, don't expect to be one. Better yet get a Tundra, Tacoma, Sienna, Maverick or Raptor at MSRP. Family vehicles crushing the resale game still.

2. The market is correcting. Trade-in values for the CGR, ITR, etc. have dropped and more cars are selling at MSRP again. Dealer offered $41.5K for a friend's GRC mid-summer, that is down to $40K now with no miles added. Dealers are still charging $5K premiums on used cars when I can find a new car at MSRP if I look around and wait 1-2 months.
