Like some others here, I run a winter set-up six months a year and prefer to keep the summer/OEM look. I also have a STRONG preference for Michelins over any other tire brand, so predisposed to the Alpin5 SUV and winning the PS4S factory lottery. Since Michelin doesn’t currently produce the PS4S in 315/35R21, I’m bound to the optional 21/22 809Ms.
So .. my provisional plan is to buy a second pair of 10.5x21 809M (front) rims and run a square set of 295/35R21 Alpin5 SUV tires in winter (and swap tires on the front OEM 809Ms twice/year). There appears to only be 1mm difference on the outer position of the rims (10.5 vs 11.5). I can live with the 25mm inner clearance difference (gained) switching from 11.5 summer rims to 10.5 winter rims in the rear. I realize the bi-color 809Ms will run more than monotone 808Ms of the same size.
Any pitfalls or holes to that plan?!?

You want to switch half of the tires and half of the wheels? That's a weird idea, but if you're ok with that logistics - why not.
