Update, I pressed unlock on the app and said I have to call Bmw assist to request vehicle unlock.

Since I’m an android user, play store doesn’t have BMW Connected app in Canada in the ‘playstore’. (Maybe for BlackBerry it’s not available in Canada?)
I’ve been using the US workaround by running a apk.
Before that I was using BMW REMOTE app but switched to the BMW Connected app because it had more features.

Anyhow, it just dawned on me that the ‘unlock’ feature I remember seeing on the BMW REMOTE app. I just downloaded it and it is there. ‘Lock, unlock, horn and headlight flasher’
