Can someone check my math for me:

Battery capacity is 24 kWh
Range is ~35 miles til empty give or take

1 kWH here in NY is ~25 cents including supply (~11c), delivery (~12c) and taxes

Therefore, to charge an empty battery costs 24 * .25 = $6

at ~$4.7 per gallon I could drive ~20 mpg on gas only, so for 35 miles it'll cost 35/20*4.7 = $8.225

So gas =~ $8.225 vs pure electric at ~$6

Am I in the right ballpark?
Couple of clarifications since i am in NY area. I am on Con Edison off-peak charging plan - it’s around 6c to 11c per kWH for overnight charging. Will make huge difference to your calculations. Also, even if the battery capacity is 24kW, the usable capacity in US is around 17KW. With charging losses, the full charge is around 20KwH. So the full charge is around $1.20 to $2.20
That's including delivery charges? More than half my bill with PSEG Long Island is delivery.
