It was a bad call, there is no doubt about that and it stood out in a sea of missed calls during the game.Then there was the muffed punt in the KC/Pats game and that missed call.
My feeling is the saints had an opportunity to put that game away much earlier and that call would not have made a difference-in the first quarter alone they should have put up at least 14 points and instead left with only six and lost opportunities. Perhaps the missed calls will lead to some rule changes for the betterment of the game.
